IWCB take into account the new realities of the global economy and change the paradigm of high caliber competitions, taking on the task of opening new roads for worldwide wine industry.

Since 2016, IWCB becomes an itinerant contest which this year, will take place in the middle of the largest region of Romanian wine industry, Vrancea - aka Vine and Wine Country. This fact give to the jurors, journalists and representatives of the OIV the chance to get introduced to this important wine region of Romania.
