The full list can be found at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwcb.ro\/en\/jury-2020\/\">https:\/\/www.iwcb.ro\/en\/jury-2020\/<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>4 Masters of Wine accepted the TeleVINARIUM challenge, supporting the organizers with their entire experience. <\/li><li>Every commission was formed of 6 or 5 members, with every panel being chaired by a Head of Panel. The consensual average of each sample was calculated as an arithmetic average of the scores given by al jurors, after eliminating the extreme scores (i.e. the lowest and the highest scores were eliminated).<\/li><li>There have been awarded 270 medals:<ul><li>4 Great Gold Medals (92 \u2013 100 points)<\/li><li>206 Gold Medals (85 \u2013 91.9 points)<\/li><li>60 Silver Medals (84.5 \u2013 84.9 points)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the minimum\nscore for the Silver Medal, according to the OIV Regulations, is of 82 points,\ndue to the restriction according to which only 30% of the total number of\nsamples can receive and award, the last score for the Silver Medal was 84.5.\nUnder this category, there were 22 samples. The level of the contest is very\nhigh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>651 wines had a score equal to or higher than 82 points, representing 76.3% of the total samples in the contest.<\/li><li>Following Romania, Republic of Moldova is the country with the highest number of samples registered for the contest. Out of 166 samples, 64 received a medal: 54 Gold Medals and 10 Silver Medals.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The VINARIUM team (the\nInstitute of Wine) moved the international judging \u2013 through a paid\ncommunication platform and a private one \u2013 into online.<\/li><li>At the <strong>National\nResearch Centre for Food Safety <\/strong>the samples were prepared for delivery to\nthe international jurors.<\/li><li>The samples arrived in\nrecord time at the jurors through express delivery organized by <strong>FAN COURIER<\/strong>.\nFAN COURIER, partner of VINARIUM, supervised the \u2018trip\u2019 of the tasting kits to\neach juror, which arrived in perfect conditions.<\/li><li>The tasting kit of every\njuror contained, next to the samples, a tasting glass and a thermometer for\nmeasuring the wine\u2019s temperature.
